This week has been a let down for me, mainly because I didn't get my coupons this past Sunday. I always go to the same Dollar Tree every Sunday at about 9:30am to get six newspapers, I did that like I've been doing since I started couponing but this weekend something went wrong. The cashiers recognize me right away, probably by my pink hair and combat boots, and she immediately told me that there were no coupons this week. That one small statement shattered my hopes of all the money saving and shopping this week...
I felt defeated so I left the store without the newspapers and went home to check out the coupon schedule for the year online, sure enough everything I checked said that there was supposed to be a SmartSource insert that day. My husband and I went right back to the store and I proceeded to tell the cashier what I found on the internet, I told her I'd look through their stack of newspapers just to be sure. By about the 8th or 9th newspaper I figured this Dollar Tree must be couponless today, so I went next door to a Safeway, I looked through those newspapers and still no coupons! Then we hit a Walmart, a 7-11, and a Fry's grocery store to no avail! So this week I have no coupons, I checked the internet again for places where I could get these inserts and it seemed like Ebay was my place. I ended up buying five intact inserts for $2.50 plus $2.50 shipping which is less than my newspaper buying habit and they'll be sent straight to my mailbox, and hopefully soon...
This is a bum week, but oh well, hopefully I'll get my 7/17 SmartSource inserts before Sunday so I can get out and shop!

Quick Target Trip
I went to Target to get a gift bag for my best friend's birthday present and it's a good thing I had my coupon binder because I found some pretty good deals
I found these Olay double packs of body wash in the clearance section and I had a $1.00 off two coupon to use. They were on clearance sale for $4.24 each which made the two of them $7.48, so I got four bottles of body was for only $1.87 each!
I also saw some Schick Quatro Disposable razors on sale for $6.54 and for buying two I got a $5.00 Target gift card, I used a Buy One Get One Free coupon on this so for these two packs I spent $1.54!
I spent $14.02 for this stuff but I got a $5.00 gift card so it was really $9.02!
Yesterday's Trip to Fry's
This was my first time shopping at Fry's after I've heard all the good things about this place, they make all coupons worth at least $1.00 and they also accept competitor coupons but they'll only take 3 of the same coupon... I have a feeling this will be my go to place
First off the main reason I went was to get some FREE M&Ms! They are on sale for $0.50 and I had three $0.75 off coupons that Fry's made worth $1.00 so I got all six packages of M&Ms for free!
Vitamin Water was also on sale for $0.50 and I got two coupons from Whole Foods' website worth $0.50 each so I got both for free!
The Colgate toothpaste is on sale for $0.99 and I had three coupons that made them free!
The Kraft Salad Dressing is on sale for $1.49 and I had $1.00 off of 2 so that made these $1.98 total
Pringles are on sale for $0.79 and I got three so I could use a $1.00 off of three coupon which made these $1.37
The Pasta Roni is on sale for $0.56 and I didn't have any coupons but we eat this all the time so I got them for $1.12 anyway
Tide Stain Release is on sale for $4.98 for 18 count packs and I had coupons for $1.50 off of each so I got both of them for $6.96
Trop50 juice is on sale for $2.49 and I had a coupon for $1.50 off of 2 so these were $3.48 for both
The Newtons Fruit Thins weren't on sale and I've been waiting almost a month to use some coupons that were about to expire so I got two just to try them. I had four coupons, 2 manufacturer and 2 from Target worth $4.00 total. The selling price on them are $4.49 so I paid $4.98 for the two of them
The Silk Almond milk is on sale foe $2.19 and I had two $1.00 off coupons, I paid $2.38 for both!
This was an awesome trip, I saved $42.13 and I only spent $22.27!

Walgreen! Razors, Infusium 23, and Dove!
Walgreens had some good deals this week and these are still good until Sunday! I had two transactions so the photos are separated.
First off was the Noxzema Razors that they had Buy One Get One Free! I had $2.00 off coupons so I got each of them for $0.99, they had cheaper ones that I could get for free but I splurged because I like these ones
Walgreens also had their brand of Women's 6 Blade Razor system for free so I jumped on that! It was $3.99 and I got all of that back in Register rewards!
The Infusium 23 hair products were $5.99 and they gave me $4.00 Register Rewards plus I had a $1.00 off coupon so it was only $0.99!
I got GUM floss for FREE! It was $2.00 and they gave me $2.00 Register Rewards!
I also got 8 folders that were only $0.12 each with a Walgreens ad coupon, I can donate these to a school somewhere, they were good fillers!
Walgreens also had their brand of Women's 6 Blade Razor system for free so I jumped on that! It was $3.99 and I got all of that back in Register rewards!

Target: Super Cheap Dove and Gillette Guys Soap
I went to Target almost a week ago which was last Friday and I found some awesome deals on Dove Men+Care Body soap and Gillette Men's Body soap! Plus I got in on some other awesome deals, here's the rundown.
First off, the reason I went to Target was they had Ortega Taco Shells on sale for $1.94, I had a $1.00 off coupon so I got three of them for $0.94 each!
I was walking down the end of the aisles and noticed lots of guy's products on clearance for $2.78! I got 2 bottles of Dove Men+Care for the price of one, because I had a Buy One Get One Free coupon! These had little travel sized bottles stuck to them so Bonus!
They also had Gillette body wash on clearance for $2.78 and I had $1.00 off coupons so I got three packages which had 2 each, so it was really like paying $0.89 each!
I had a printable coupon for $0.50 off of Wet Ones, so I had to get two of them! They're awesome for when hand sanitizer isn't enough, they were on sale for $0.97 so they were $0.47 each!
Puffs cubes were on sale for $1.33 each and I had $0.50 off coupons so they were only $0.83 each! These are awesome for when kids bring home the list of things their school needs, tissue is usually at the top of the list. We're buying school supplies for my husband's niece so I had to get these.
Purina dog treats were on sale and I found Beggin' Strips for $2.00 each, I got 4 because I had coupons that would make them only $1.00 each!
Milo's Kitchen dog treats were also on sale for $2.50 and I had $1.50 off coupons that made them $1.00 each!
Cottonelle wipes were on sale for $2.01 so I got 2 of them because I had a coupon that took $1.25 off the both of them, these ended up being just $2.77 for both packages!
Another reason I went to Target was to get two 30 packs of Dasani water for $3.99 each! For getting two packages they gave me an 8 pack of Powerade FREE, it's normally $4.99.
The Sharpies were only $0.54! I got a printable coupon from Target's website so hopefully it's still available
I also go the Papermate Pens for only $0.12 with a $1.00 off coupon from target.com!
For this overflowing cart of stuff I paid $33.54 and saved $34.20! I wish the deals were a little better but it was my first giant haul at Target so I'm excited about what I got!

Free Toothbrushes at Walgreens and CVS! And a Target deal too
I was kind of in need of toothbrushes because I like to get rid of mine monthly so I was definitely excited to get some for free! I got some at both Walgreens and CVS since both had a limit, I may go back to Walgreens to get more today.
I went to Walgreens first since it's the closest to my house, I think after going to the same places alot they start to recognize you, the people at mine definitely do which is pretty awesome.
The Crest Pro-Health mouthwash was $3.99 then I got $1.00 Register Reward and I also had a $0.75 off coupon so it was $2.24.
The Gillette Fusion ProGlide Razor was $9.99 and they gave me a $5.00 Register Reward, I also had a $2.00 off coupon which brought this down to $2.99!
The Oral B Indicator toothbrushes were the main reason I went to Walgreens! They were on sale for 2 for $2.00 and I had a $2.00 off coupon, which made these free!
These next items were on my second transaction, I wanted to use the $5.00 Register Reward so I separated the transactions.
They had Gillette Mach 3 disposable razors on sale for BOGO 50% off, they were $9.99 originally. I had two $2.00 off coupons which brought this down to $10.98.
To make that total look better I had two coupons that got me both Gillette Shaving Creams for free, just for buying the razors!
I had to get that chapstick as a filler to use my $5.00 RR but it was on clearance for $1.00
For both transactions I ended up paying $15.02 total for $52.64 worth or Walgreens swag!

My last stop was Target, I ran out of fabric softener and I was waiting on a sale. I saw in their ad that they had Downy on sale for 2 for $8.00, I had two $1.00 off coupons to use so it came down to $6.00. I paid $5.00 of that with the gift card I got two weeks ago for buying all those Q-tips, it was $1.08 with tax!
The Rest of Last Week's Shopping
I've been putting off doing this post since Wednesday, almost a week ago so I thought I'd better get to it. This is a compilation of what I got at Target, CVS, and Fry's.
First is Target, I only got six things but they were all pretty good deals.
I love Sally Hansen nail polish, especially when I can get it for $0.54 each! I had two printable coupons stacked for each, one was from Target for $1.00 off and the other was a manufacturer coupon for $1.00 off any Sally Hansen product. Each bottle was $2.54 originally so I got all three for $1.62!
The other things I got were something I definitely needed because I got stung by a bee two days before buying them, they're Benedryl Itch Sticks. I had a coupon I cut out of either a Red Plum or Smart Source, not sure which, but they were $2.00 off any Benedryl Topical Product and they were originally $2.29 each! I got all three for only $0.87 not counting tax since it's different everywhere.

I went in originally to get a money order but I passed their ad on the way in and saw that they had V8 V-Fusion juice on sale for $2.49. I knew I had coupons for $1.50 off of each and a buy 2 get 1 free V8 Fusion+Tea, so I paid $2.97 total for these 4 bottles! I call that an awesome deal because they are usually $4.29 each, I just wish I had more coupons!
